What Is a Partial Denture?
A partial denture is designed to replace multiple missing teeth, while helping the patient retain a large number of their own healthy teeth. A partial anchors to your remaining teeth with metal clasps, and the appliance has prosthetic teeth attached to fill in the open spaces – similar to a puzzle piece.
Dr. Chen customizes your partial so it complements your smile while restoring lost function. Your partial can also be removed, which makes cleaning and caring for it easier.
Implant-Supported Dentures
Partials and dentures can also be supported with dental implants, offering patients a more secure fit than ever before and eliminating any slippage or movement for denture wearers when talking or eating.
A few dental implants are strategically placed into your jawbone, and your denture is designed to “snap” into them.
